I help you align with your inner wisdom through radical honesty, accountability, and by teaching you how to listen to your body and recognize how it speaks to you. I help guide you on how to use food as medicine to restore your body and bring yourself back into balance, mind, body and spirit.
What is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional Therapy is the process of using food, supplementation, and lifestyle recommendations in order to help you achieve and maintain optimal health.
In order to best serve you, I utilize a few tools, including:
An Initial health history interview
Detailed assessment questionnaire, which gives me a glimpse of your general lifestyle and health habits as well as a symptom burden analysis
Food journal overview
Information in regards to your stress levels, habit formation, and willingness to implement lifestyle changes overtime
Using these tools allows me to get an in depth synopsis of your current health status so that I can provide you with an individualized plan, addressing your specific and unique health and lifestyle needs on a foundational level. One of the most important foundations for obtaining optimal health, is what we choose to fuel ourselves with. I focus on steering you towards a properly prepared, nutrient-dense, whole foods, plant-based diet, and help you successfully navigate how to make this a lifestyle rather than a temporary quick fix.
Although the topic of food will be at the forefront of your plan, my services go beyond simply telling you what and what not to eat. My goal is to help you to navigate making the best decisions for YOU when it comes to your nutrition and bringing your body back into balance.
I teach you how to connect to yourself and your body's innate intelligence on a deeper level, while honoring you as an individual. It is my ultimate goal to empower you to take control of your own health and most importantly, find balance in creating a healthy lifestyle while still allowing yourself the freedom to enjoy life.
